Jane McQuitty, The Times wine critic, has chosen her favourite Rose wines for the hopefully soon arriving summer. We were surprised and delighted to find that amongst her "Top Buys" is one of our own favourites - the Domaine de Pellehaut Rose de Gascogne 2009!

Jane describes the wine as a "Stunning jewel-pink bargain buy whose mouthwateringly intense ripe, redcurrant and blackcurrant fruit made from merlot, tannat, both cabernets and syrah oozes charm. Any summer table with this Gascon pink on board will wow one and all."

We expect the wine to arrive on May 21st, one bottle costing only £5.99 - now that really is a bargain!
