Cambridge Wine Merchants are independent wine merchants with shops at Mill Road, Bridge Street and King's Parade, Cambridge, as well as franchises in Royston, Hertfordshire and Ampthill, Bedfordshire,  a wholly-owned subsidiary in Edinburgh and a successful mail order operation.

We are totally independent so we can ship from any one whose wines we think you will enjoy, from tiny family firms to huge co-operatives. All British wine merchant chains are owned by international drinks companies or brewers; naturally they promote the products of their parent companies, and because of their size, tend to buy from big producers. But big is not necessarily best.

We have an enormous range of products. Everything from cases of lager to Cru Classé Bordeaux.
